    Default Golden/Silver age Helllboy

    Hey guys!

Quick question, the comic featured in the first Hellboy movie, the one with a golden/silver age feel.
Is that made into a real comic/cover? I've googled a bit but can't find anything
Can one get hold of it?

    Cheers!

The original art is nicely printed in the first movie's 'Art of' book. It would have been cool if they made it into an actual cover, but they never did.

It was drawn by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola aping Jack Kirby's style (the cover is actually based on an old Thor cover). Mike's so inspired by Kirby he assumed that, had their been a Hellboy comic published in the '60s or '70s, it would have been a Kirby comic.

You sir are dead on. Excellent answer to his question. There were so many cool things like that in the movie that made is so special.
