what moment did you find the most heartwarming in x men history

This moment wasn't in the x-men comics, but instead the old animated series. It was basically the episode "Have yourself a Morlocks little x-mas" or something like that. The Christmas one, it always put a smile on my face when I younger, and it was pretty heartwarming I think. Moments like that which really show the x-men as a family.

The first one that comes to my mind is Kitty's Fairy Tale. At the end of the story Scott thanks Kitty for giving him and Jean a (fictional) happy ending.

Uncanny X-Men 522, when Matt Fraction fixed the weakest part of Whedon's run and return Kitty Pryde to us. Then he repeated a story from the 80s but she eventually got better.

Also, Uncanny X-Men 390, with the cure of the Legacy Virus at a pretty decent bargain price.

Uncanny X-Men 341, the Christmas issue where Joseph takes Rogue to the Empire State building and kisses her. It was very sweet.

On God Loves Man Kills, Scott beats Stryker with a great speech after Stryker humiliates Kurt. In the end, Storm and Scott share a moment.
