Default What the? the Marvel Mag of Mirth and Mayhem.

I only read a few issues back in the day, but they were hilarious. Marvel kids, or whatever it is called is in a similar vein. I think they should bring What the? back for a little while in book form just to parody everything that is going on in Marvel comics right now.

Any body with me? I'll always love Black 'n' Blue Panther and how it not only parodied the character but Marvel's own inability to market him. And the Man Thing or JLA vs Avengers. I don't have any scans, but I bet some of you other old timers do. I'd love to see or read about some of your favorite parodies from that mag.

It just seems the time is appropriate, what with all the What If stuff going on. It may be a good way to, through Marvel's own works, to show either your current dissatisfaction or enjoyment of what is currently happening.

I remember them, but I don't have any issues any more. I seem to remember an issue parodying the X-Men where Magneto (incognito) asks to join the school as a new student. Prof X asks what mutant power he has, Mags says he has none... but that he's super-rich. Prof X welcomes him with open arms!

Edit: Not Brand Echh was the name many of these cartoons ran under, iirc.

That jogged my memory. I remember an issue with Marvel Christmas carols. One had three Jean Greys singing 'We three Jeans.' To We Three Kings, of course.
