I feel like they could've added Loki there, since he was a Young Avenger and that particular space was filled with YA characters.
I think that space is there to let Captain America's shield be seen -- if they stuck another character between America and Ramone (or moved the two of them closer together) the shield would be blocked from view. Since the idea of a gay Captain America is a significant symbol, I think they wanted to make sure the shield could be seen, to help make that point.

Maybe, but I feel like there were better ways to position the characters if that was the intention. They could've moved Aaron a bit up so the shield would be more visible, or he could've been drawn lifting the shield above the head of whoever filled that space. The breaking of the design pattern just bothered me a little.

In the early 2000s. Felicia was shown in a relationship with a woman in the MC2 universe (which is not 616 but is an alternate future, so characters are the same at their core) and then in 2002's Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do #1 she mentioned having girlfriends in the past.

In the recent Black Cat run she's also had a specific ex-girlfriend introduced.

    The Week In Gay:

Cable #10 - Jumbo Carnation makes an appearance

MODOK: Head Games #4 of 4 - Superia is part of the AIM board of directors.

The Marvels #1 - Black Cat appears

New Mutants #17 - Karma, Anole and Scout all appear.

X-Men Legends #3 - Iceman appears, but this story is set back in X-FACTOR vol.1, long before Bobby comes out of the closet.

I’m not enjoying the new MAC-mini so far.

There, I said it. Not as bad as Rivera (yet?), but still.

Can we please get Ewing to write her?

To the shock & awe of precisely no one, I too feel that Chavez was best handled by Ewing.
But Ewing is one of those magic writers who seems capable of writing anyone.

    The Week In Gay:

America Chavez: Made In The USA #3 of 5 - This issue makes some major reveals about America's backstory (IF they are true - the mini is only half over). I expect we'll see some rather mixed reactions to this....

Immortal Hulk #46 - Dr. McGowan appears

Marauders #20 - this issue is a tribute to Storm as she prepares to exit the cast. Kate Pryde and Iceman both have small roles, and Christian Frost gets a line of dialogue, while Shinobi Shaw is present but silent.

Thor & Loki: Double Trouble #3 of 4

X-Men: Curse Of The Man-Thing - Jennifer Kale makes an appearance.

As always, please chime in if there is anything I missed in any of the other titles out this week!

This is/may be the new character getting introduced at Pride does he not remind anyone else of Billy/Wiccan?

I really like his design. Feels very ethereal. Somnus/Hypnos is apparently the god of sleep in roman/greek mythology, so I wonder if he's gonna be a part of that lore. Maybe he'll be Marvel's version of Sandman?

I like the cape, the matador inspired suit not so much. Teal with gold piping is a choice. If they want this character to be used outside of this one shot, I'm not sure it was a great idea to task the artist who was universally panned for his new New Warriors designs.

I'm still upset we never got that I've been left so curious about that story.
