That reminds me, wasn't Quicksilver supposed to show up during Endgame? Wasn't the actor seen on set or something?
Maybe they originally planned one of the time travels to be to when the infinity stone was used to power the twins, but it was decided to change the story.
Or was this all just another rumour that turned out to be false?

No. There were rumors but nothing was ever confirmed. Like I said, it's like everyone involved in the movies forgot about him immediately after Age of Ultron ended.

There is a bunch I'm excited for (art included) but I can't shake off being cautiously optimistic(?) -- but that's pretty standard for me, whenever my boys get picked up by someone -- particularly when its a "new" talent.
The Death's Head book, for example, has me apprehensive. Despite the enthusiasm expressed for the boys in interviews, I'm still not exceptionally on board with what's been said about their status quo, and I'm still butthurt about their costumes reverting to their Heinberg era suits, but maybe that's part of the narrative. <shrug>

I keep seeing folks on twitter praising the War of Realms snippet writer, Oliveira and even he is encouraging followers to broadcast to Marvel if they want to see him do more stories with the boys, but, like, I don't even know the quality of the story he'll be telling, so how do I blindly shout from the rooftops for him to helm their ship moving forward? I absolutely want Billy and Teddy to get a book, a solo, a duo, more page time, all of it-- and I LOVE LOVE LOVE what he's said so far about them (anxious soft goths and their golden retriever boyfriends, etc) -- but I also don't 100% KNOW that this won't turn into an America Chavez situation either. Anyhow, I honestly hope that I wind up gagging on my own anxiety and they make some magic with this little War of the Realms piece.
