Does Phyla and Teddy acknowledge each other as siblings?

We've never even seen them interacting (and that goes for both versions of Phyla), so we don't know.

It's not really confirmed/explicit. He's on a poly relationship with Scott and Jean, but the details haven't been made clear and so far the most explicit thing we got was him and Jean having a moment, so people who don't want it can still say he's straight and it's just the two with Jean.

I am a bit bothered by the timing of this.

I wish it had happened before she went through the Resurrection Protocols. The recent Cyclops/Wolverine teasing also started after they were resurrected, and its possible that the recent fluidity of sexuality for the mutant characters may be revealed to be linked to the resurrections somehow--in which case it could all get wiped away eventually. Kitty being bi has lots of groundwork going back decades due to Claremont, so this reveal could be entirely legitimate--I just wish it happened pre-resurrection.

Imo the only way I see it being connected to her ressurection is that being brought back from the dead made her more confident and aware of some aspects of her life. I think the fan theories that everything will be wiped away/everyone is being mind controlled since the Dawn of X era started have been a bit overblown. Esp when Hickman has stated from the beginning that he wants to create a new status quo for the franchise

Hopefully so, and as noted with this particular character there is a lot of pre-Dawn Of X subtext (and 'word of god' from Claremont) to support it and prevent it from being wiped away. But it just feels like the X-line in general is having a case of "too much, too fast" with the sexual fluidity, and polyamory, etc, for it to seem like a natural status quo change. Maybe they do intend for it to be legit, but it just doesn't feel quite real when its happening so fast with so many characters.
