Interesting. She's a rather left field choice for inclusion here, isn't she? Most of the other characters included here are either actively appearing in books now, or have appeared somewhere relatively prominently in the last year or so. When was the last time Victoria Montessi appeared anywhere?

There are many, many characters not included -- it mainly comes down to the fact that there was a limited amount of space to work with. I think Vecchio was trying to focus mainly on the currently prominent ones, as well as ones who weren't included in his superhero Pride parade story in last year's MARVELS VOICES. Some of those absent characters like Koi Boi, Lightning, Flatman, Nocturne, etc, were included in that story, so we know Vecchio knows about them. He just doesn't have room to include everyone in this border art. And Victoria Hand is still dead (as far as I know).

Maybe we'll get a big splash page inside the book where they can try and include everyone (although that will get REALLY crammed if they're also including the supporting characters like Max Modell and Ying & Shay, and Arnie Roth, etc)

Lovely work from Luciano as usual. And I didn't know there was going to be a new hero debuting in this. Do we know who'll be writing/drawing?

Luciano doesn't even try to hide his Young Avengers bias, and I love that for him.

They won't even let Mystique have Destiny back for a variant cover, that's heartbreaking.

Anyone else got the impression that there is a weird space between America and Ramone on that cover, like there was supposed to be a character there who got erased? And no, I don't think it's supposed to be the new character, because I read that they are supposed to be on the huge blank part in the middle of the cover. I feel like they could've added Loki there, since he was a Young Avenger and that particular space was filled with YA characters.

I was joking about Moira being a lesbophobe, but she doesn't exactly have that much common sense when she let Raven in Krakoa knowing full well what kind of person she is, let her be on the council and then proceeded to lie to her face by promising her something they don't intend on fulfilling. I mean... play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
