The Woods by James Tynion IV also has quite a few LGBT cast members and has been an enjoyable horror/fantasy title. His Memetic is another horror book with a gay protagonist, and definitely a skin-crawling read.

DC Bombshells has a majority LGBT cast and has been a lot of fun overall.

Kim & Kim from Black Mask has a trans protagonist. Not sure how much I like it yet, but it's interesting enough that I'll pick up the second issue.

Manifest Destiny is an excellent historical horror book from Image with an explicitly bisexual Meriwether Lewis as one of the leads.

Princeless and it's spin-off series Raven: The Pirate Princess both feature LGBT supporting cast or have LGBT leading ladies. Lots of all-ages fun there.

    Thank you!

I know Angela is currently in GOTG. Is Sera appearing anywhere?

Sera is appearing only in my dreams. Where she's my English teacher and sings pop music.

. . . OK, that actually sounds like it'd be a cool dream and I hope it happens tonight.

Haha, have some ice cream. I have heard that can give people some crazy dreams if they eat it close enough to bedtime.

Studying to a test also works. You wouldn't believe what I dreamed with after binge studying Embriology.

So far behind on WicDiv. Still need to read the second TPB (damn fringe taking me away; but I'm back and hoping this weekend to binge of WicDiv).

I'm glad to see Cindy's friends getting more focus in Silk right now, and Tana Ford seems to love drawing these hip young lesbians.
I did invest a lot in Toni/Aikku, one of the surprise enjoyments of New Avengers. LOVING the Midnight Angels also; that series is just so good in general. Not read either Hellcat or Silk; worth picking up?

Midnighter didn't do it for me, I think it's because I'm such a Marvel boy, that I just didn't feel the same "squeal" because it wasn't my team. I do wish we had a Marvel version of that series, though; something ballsey and really going for it, proudly and unashamedly gay.

My secret shame is: I didn't really care for Queen of Hel. Loved the story, but the characterisation (for both Angela and Sera) felt horribly off from what we got in Angela: Assassin of Asgard. It actually made me dislike Sera quite a bit (and I adored her in A: AoA).

It makes me wonder if Bendis held off on Iceman coming out until the very end of his run so that he wouldn't have to actually deal with it.

Regardless, I'd like it if Bendis at least had Sera show up, complete with smooching.
Woah, woah, woah! I'd argue Bendis is one of THE BEST writers when it comes to LGBT at Marvel. Daken was (arguably) the first openly LGBT Avengers (i.e. being on a team once the character has been confirmed LGBT), though the team doesn't official count as Avengers - Bendis. Victoria Hand - Bendis. Benjamin Morph - Bendis. Iceman - Bendis (and that one was HUGE!). I agree he doesn't really do LGBT relationships (outside of Victoria Hand, and they didn't kiss from memory). But he has one of the better track records (and has for years) of including LGBT characters (where their sexuality actually comes up).

However, not everyone is comfortable talking about porn with people they barely know. Especially porn they would never watch. This is, as stated, an appreciation thread for LGBT Marvel characters. I personally have nothing against porn or the discussion of it, I just don't think this is the appropriate place for it. Maybe a separate thread should be created in the community forum if their is enough people who want to discuss.

And just to be fair, I would be saying the same thing if I ever spotted something like this in a character's specific appreciation thread.
    Yes.

This is OF COURSE a free forum where we are welcome to speak/type our minds (within the bounds of the CBR rules) but that also means we are, each of us, welcome to encourage or in this case discourage certain topics in the interest of avoiding alienation of others.

None of us are "in charge" of this thread or trying to ban topics --that's a bit ridiculous that any ONE of us would have THAT much ego, but we as a community can do our best to keep discussion on topic and avoid making each other uncomfortable.
We're not policing anything -- simply making a suggestion to redirect a conversation topic to a more appropriate venue. Nothing more. Nothing less. This is not an attempt to infringe on anyone's rights or anyone's identity or some half-assed form of oppression or projection of self loathing.

    Respectfully: Chill.

How was Sera's transition (title and issue please) from male to female depicted?

Why do you ask for title and issue number every time you ask for information?

Do people lie to you often?
