Ya'll missed the sh*tstorm that was going on here last night, I'm glad all of the posts got deleted.

I missed drama? Dammit! I love getting involved in drama! What's the Cliffnotes version? Was it about people debating if America, Lisa and Kate were going to form a three-way poly romance? I'll bet that's what it was, right?

Oh, I'm also guessing Carol is totally on America's list of women she's allowed to sleep with. No question. Probably also on Lisa's list.

So instead of that, let's figure out who's on various characters' pass lists. (I know there's a specific term, but damn if I can remember what it is.) For America, I'm figuring:
1. Carol Danvers
2. Storm
3. Beyonce
4. Captain America from a world where Cap is a drop-dead gorgeous Asian-American woman
5. Jenny X., an actor-singer on this really punk world, and the lady is just smoking, a ball of curves and attitude who screws with as much gleeful violence as she fights

I know a lot of people figure Kate would be on her list, but I think America actually likes her too much for that.

Should superheroes be allowed to have such lists?? They get to actually meet a lot of famous people! ;P

I only mentioned it because I'm glad it got deleted. I took the bait and responded at first but then I edited the post and just reminded everyone to report him instead of enabling him. It can get kind of annoying because a lot of people come into this thread expecting less of that drivel, it's supposed to be an appreciation thread after all, but alas.

Storm definitely needs to be in America's pass list. Storm should be on everyone's pass list tbh.

Yeah I came in at the very tail-end of it, literally right before it all got deleted and it was some pretty garden-variety homophobia. That guy was starting threads complaining about superheroes not being "real heroes" because they aren't good Christians, I checked and it looks like his threads are gone so he probably got banned.

America Chavez shined in yesterday's Ultimates 12 in more ways than one, y'all.

Ewing treated us to some lovely morsels.
~ Meet and greet with Best Friend Kate and Girlfriend Lisa at a diner with America
~Further exploration / explanation of just what America does in her down time. She seriously dimension hops, doing the hero thing, setting things in motion, saving lives, solving problems and then straight dipping OUT before anyone can give her credit. THAT, to me, is REALLY remarkable. My admiration for America grows with every panel. I mean, who KNOWS how many 616 events she's had a hand in assuring success for? I love that. I love her. Cannot wait for her solo.

I liked the America's moments in the last issue of the Ultimates and how in the end she and Carol made ammends. It's also showed what she is doing when she is not in the Ultimates (protecting and exploring the Multiverse) which could be a hint of the future stories for her upcoming ongoing. Do you think we'll get more info about America's series in November?

2.) Henry Cavill (again; as long as he has a beard and chest hair)
3.) Hugh Jackman (as long as he's got that Wolverine body... with a beard and chest hair)
4.) Jesse Jackman (a gay pornstar)
5.) Paddy O'Brian (also a gay pornstar)

If you read the last issue of the Ultimates, America and Carol had a talk and ended making peace, so now it seems that both of them are in good terms.
