Cullen looks like he aged a decade.
Cullen graduated from being a twunk to a whole ass hunk
He definitely looks older on that cover, but then again, I also think the artist of Avengers Undercover made him look a bit older in comparison to the artist of Avengers Arena. Different takes from different artists and all that. What concerns me is how villainous he's looking on that cover. Hopefully there's an explanation for that. Anyway, I'm just glad he's back. Bless Tini for keeping on bringing the gays back from limbo.

I'm not sure I'd say 'bless'. Every time she touches an LGBT character, she does something weird and messed up with them. Billy, Teddy, Rictor, now Cullen...
I guess he really did learn something from Hellstrom
Wow! What a wonderful Christmas surprise!
Me too! I'd been hoping for a Cullen return for a while now, and was keeping my eyes on Thompson's DEADPOOL (since his sister is appearing over there), but I never expected him to turn up in this book!
Yep. Plus he was a teenage character; he could have simply have a growth spurt. It happens -- I've flipped through my old high school yearbooks and have some people whose appearance gradually matured from year to year, and others who seemed to magically jump ahead four or five years from one yearbook photo to the next.
He does look villainous there, but we don't really know the context yet. And even if he has gone bad...well, it wouldn't be entirely out of left field, given his background. He's got a demon inside him (that alone is a potential for long-term leaning towards the dark side); he's a survivor of a kill-or-be-killed Murderworld competition; and he was trained by Daimon Hellstrom as a potential Masters of Evil recruit. I hope Cullen doesn't go bad...but there's groundwork in place for that direction.Originally Posted by Drops Of Venus
In any case, I look forward to seeing what's in store for him.
I don't think she's done anything bad or damaging with any of them though. And I don't think she's done anything weird or messed up with Angela or Satana. And she introduced a one-off gay character in a CAPTAIN AMERICA Annual too that she didn't do anything weird with.
How did Howard mess up Teddy? He didn't really do anything
She's written him as kind of clueless. Had him get jobbed pretty quickly each time. A lot of the same stuff she did to Billy like "why is Teddy suddenly on bad terms with other heroes", why he's suddenly in another apartment, why she seemed to be hinting at him wanting to give up being a hero all of a sudden, how she had him just forget about Excelsior for the entire Death's Head run. He just felt generally off the entire mini.
