Whether he's flaunting in-character, or just meta for the readers (and that scene might not even happen inside the comic itself), it's show and tell. Visual storytelling at it's best. I doubt he was flaunting - from what we could see, those two were the only ones on board. But if it is just the two of them on board, its more intimate to be in flesh form with the robe rather than to ice up.

They have some limited history from Grace's second Iceman series. I approve because I don't think it's a stereotypical portrayal, and we rarely get sexually active queer characters in big two comics.

Christian and Bobby actually have in common that they are both mature gay men that haven't been able to live their sexuality fully until recently due to inner/outside repression. And I don't see any problem with Bobby hooking up with lots of guys considering he jumped straight into a relationship after he came out

True. I guess I want the happy medium. Some nice romances, sexually active, but not bed hoping. Granted not a constricting marriage either. A middle ground.

Limited but significant, given Bobby's role in getting Christian out of the nightmare situation he was in and on the road to recovery. In terms of the amount of on-panel time the two have spent in each other's lives, there hasn't been a lot of quantity--but what little there has been is very important, especially to Christian and his development.

I think Bobby has given us that happy medium, since we've already seen him in a romance that was more serious (in his solo series), so we know he is open to a relationship. He's just not in one at the moment.

That seems totally valid for where Bobby is at, actually, as a formerly closeted man who is now finally exploring his sexuality. A lot of guys coming out of the closet have a "bed hopping" phase after they come out as they explore the options that are now open to them--and Bobby has time to make up for from his years of repression.

He'll probably settle down into a relationship again eventually, once he meets the right guy. But for now, let him sow his wild oats, as it were.
