The character designs are awful, but I'll try it. Don't see it lasting longer than a few issues, however.

I've never read a Blade comic series before, nor seen any of the movies, but I'm interested in this new series. Is this a new October Marvel comic that is not included in the "All-New All-Different" lineup, or is it among the 60 new titles?

Pretty sure it's among the ~60, one of the 15 or so that wasn't announced last week.

Also, this book sounds SO AWESOME.

Its one of the 60, and son do yourself a favor and watch Blade 1 and 2.

    SI...don't like this.

They say they want to make monsters scary again but Blade is going to be thrust into family drama? That is so lame to me. Also, sounds like the writer didn't read Blade in Captain Britian and M13. Blade even had a drink in a vampire bar once. He isn't and hasn't been on the "kill all vampires and nothing else matters" spiel since the 90s.

Why did this need to be done to Blade of all people...

The daughter part is new but I trust Seely having sampled his previous work and it will be a much more interesting dynamic change then most other Blade books have had. I'll give it a shot.

I thought it was a team up. She's a good, existing character but they would never do Blade like that.

Not touching this one with a ten foot stake but Seeley is great!

I don't see how people thinking Blade was getting the Wolverine treatment was funny or unreasonable given all the other changes going on at Marvel.

This is exciting. Seeley is a great pick and the new direction sounds fun.

I'll wait for the trades. God! what is Marvel doing to me. I've promised myself no more single issues. I hope i'm strong enough.

Now there's way to have Wesley Snipes reprise the role.
