This looks cute though, yes, it's the opposite of the grim pseudo-revolution and I'm not sure that's the best way to try and balance both sides of Schism. For a fun to read option, though, I like it.
It was good to see Piotr and Kurt reunited and Kurt being a smart arse rather than preachy (like pre-death -- maybe a dirt nap was good for him in that respect).
I'm not loving Storm in this, as I was hoping she'd remain away from the ultra-serious leader only thing and stick with the kick-butt goddess as in the earlier issues of Amazing. And look, Pix actually got a line!

The coloring isn't as good as in the first five issues. I think the difference is pretty stark.

Absolutely loved this peview. Kurt and Pete's scene was very touching, though pretty funny. Storm is getting fed up with Iceman's incompetent ass, I'm starting to get the feeling she's going to be cleaning house soon. Possibly after Wolverine's death/Xavier's will being revealed.

My one artistic gripe is the Stormhawk.

I like it long and vivacious and trellising down her back. Something more like this...


Something fierce and flowy that her winds'll scoop up and toss around. I want Storm getting all caught up in that mane.

Agreed with that I've always liked this looked more vs the traditional hawk. It still keeps that regalness while also being edgy. The curves of the mane give her such a sexy look its perfect. Hopefully they'll change her look to this soon. I would buy every issue she appears in looking like this.
