The critically acclaimed “Darkseid War” continues as the second wave of war begins with “Darkseid War: Gods and Men”! Writer Geoff Johns is joined by superstar artist Francis Manapul for this special issue featuring the all-new, all-powerful Justice League! In the aftermath of the cataclysmic events of JUSTICE LEAGUE #44, members of the League have gained great power —the power of Gods!— but at a great price. And that price may be their destruction, unless Wonder Woman and Mister Miracle can help the League escape the curse of the New Gods and hold on to their humanity.

I saw that cover by david finch on his twitter account, I thought it was a panel from the interiors and not a very good one. For a cover, it's really poor quality.

I was thinking about this. Is there any chance that it is a "placeholder" image and not the actual cover?

Hopefully. When Chiang penciled Wonder Woman, going through the solicitations was one of the most exciting things for an art/Wonder Woman enthusiast like myself. Finch cooled that enthusiasm, it's just gone

Aside from how bland is it (which obviously ain't helped by that costume), the actual size of it suggests it's simply a random panel of artwork that's been used, presumably because the cover either a) isn't done yet or b) is potentially spoilery for events taking place prior to #45.
It's a panel from issue 41 of the solo isn't it?

That, and a few of them getting "Cosmic" powers as was mentioned. Looks like Johns is going to cop it almost exactly.

Black Vortex was rubbish tbh, all that power and they got nothing done.

Excited by more Wonder Woman '77. Have we heard how often this series is coming out? It seems like after the publication of the first volume, I didn't hear a peep until now...have they said how they're releasing it going forward and what schedule they're keeping or who the main creative team is? Are the artists rotating?
