Man this looks like a continuity mess. The reason I read marvel exclusively for the longest time was because of DCs Infinite earths, they finally sorted that out (to a degree) with flashpoint. Now I can't keep track of anything going on with marvel, do we really need 10 of every character? Adding in the price increase sounds like a good time to drop the line all together.

I see they're re-introducing BLADE as a female youth, like Ms Marvel.

Wesley Snipes has been in talks with Marvel about a new project. This could be a transition movie where Blade's kid takes over for daddy. But Marvel's going to have a tough time getting a female vampire-hunter over. Buffy comparisons are unavoidable.

There are only four well known Vampire Hunters to begin with - Van Helsing, Blade, Buffy and Abraham Lincoln.

The field is not that deep to begin with. Any new addition is likely to be met with comparison issues.

The character of Kate Fuller from Quentin Tarantino's move From Dusk Till Dawn could plausibly become a vampire hunter.

Was there a reason to renumbering Amazing Spider-Man again?

So what happens to series that have just started by these writers...? There are a couple right now.

For example the new Ant-Man series is 5 issues deep with Spencer/Rosanas as the creative team. Now in October they have Astonishing Ant-Man with the same creative team. Same with the current All-New Hawkeye

Does the current series that is out now just stop? Is the current one a lead in to the post secret wars series?

I've only been reading comics about a month and a half before Secret Wars happened. Confusing times to getting started.

So I finally got around to making my preorder list for October, and when I was done I realized there was nothing from Marvel on it. It wasn't intentional, it just turned out that way. It'll be my first month with nothing new from Marvel since probably 1987 or so. It was Transformers, somewhere in the 20s, after they killed off Optimus Prime. I had been getting Black Widow and Silver Surfer, but those are missing. I had been thinking about picking up the new Captain Marvel, but that's not here either. I had been buying half the line not too many years ago.

No manifesto. It's just sad.
