At first I was disappointed that some new titles aren't listed yet, but on the other hand, since they're finishing up Secret Wars and its crossovers, it's just as well and means I won't be overwhelmed financially.

Also, loooool at Lemire's Hawkeye being "volume 5".

I actually do like the whole "volume 0" idea. It's background on a series that isn't essential, and looks a lot better on a shelf.

Also, I didn't know the Silver Surfer epic collections were a thing! I'll pick them up, since I started reading Englehart's run from back issues and, while I do love it, I'd rather have it on newer paper.

[SDCC’15] All-New All-Different Avengers Launches In Avengers #0



Today during a panel regarding the future of Marvel‘s most popular cross-media superhero team it was announced that the All-New All-Different Avengers would launch in October with a 0-issue. Avengers #0 will be an anthology book sold for $5.99 that sets up other titles and teams spinning out of these stories. It is to be co-authored and co-arted by the creative teams involved.

Avengers #0 will features stories and team members from All-New All-Different Avengers, A-Force, Squadron Supreme, Ultimates, New Avengers and Uncanny Avengers.

Additionally, Avengers #0is also set to reveal which character from the Marvel U has been keeping close watch on the Avengers and how threatening they may turn out to be.

Seems Secret Wars: Agent of ATLAS is a one-shot.

Seems Miles, Kamala and Sam (Alexander) won't get their relaunches till November alongside ANAD Avengers.

I wonder what happens to Maximus, Namor, Thanos and Black Swan post-Secret Wars.

Hyped for Amazing Spider-man, Extraordinary X-Men and Uncanny + New Avengers.

Not surprised all of the titles didn't launch this month, they did say these would roll out over a few months. I expect we'll be seeing new books through Dec/Jan. And I'm not shocked at the prices either. Those previous Point 1 issues were always $5-6 and they did the same thing with the last relaunch of ASM where it was an over-sized book with a bunch of other stories.
