This is exciting.
Who's behind Namor?
Also, oh jeez Namor.
He worked with Osborn and the Cabal back in Dark Reign. Though he did of course turn on them, and odds are pretty good he'll turn on Thanos as well of then end up forming a new Cabal. But he's got a history of working with villains. Him and Doom have been on and off again BFF's for decades.
I really think that is BP lining up with Thanos and company. If this is true, then he has taken the advice he was given that seriously. It's a fascinating story wrinkle and I'm looking forward to all the fireworks as this plays out.
It could also be Strange as well. Looks like a cape being worn by that figure.

I heard rumors of a possible reboot? Anybody think it might be true?
It's very possible considering that Strange has pawned his soul and god only knows of the moral state he is in. And with a Strange movie projected for 2016-ish it is very likely that Marvel will attempt to (finally) launch a Strange ongoing solo using New Avengers as a launching pad. Hopefully with Hickman wrapping up his Avengers stint we will see him on said Strange book (and perhaps a Black Panther ongoing too?!) because I've enjoyed the limited work that he has done with Strange in New Avengers.
Wish the covers were larger.
But yeah, that looks like Namor with Thanos and the others.
Namor lining up with Thanos? Is that BP as well with Thanos as well?
Cap and Tony on the same side in Avengers as well.
This is going to be fun to watch.
Is this the first confirmation of AXIS start date? June 2015?
It seems like that must be a misunderstanding on CBR's part.. AXIS has previously been said to start this fall (by Brevoort or another editor I think?) which makes sense given that they are already teasing it. I could see it being behind that schedule by a few months at most, but not by over half a year, especially with the assumption that it ties in with Uncanny Avengers story beats that have probably been roughly scheduled since Remender started the series. We'll see I guess.
I have been reading Hickman's Avengers via Marvel Unlimited, so I am not as up to date as everyone else.
Who are all of these characters?
Ironman, Hulk and Thor. Is the goggle guy Cap? Who is the guy with the cane?
On the other side we have Thanos and Namor but I can't really place the other characters.
