This is really cool. I'll get my comic shop to save a copy for me.
I don't regularly read Archie books, but I think this issue might be worth picking up to see how it goes.
It's news because it needs to be.
Somebody creating a character that is not a straight white male and to actually hear about a creator showing some love and excitement about it-is a breath of fresh air.
It might not be news to you but hey this is another book that I can share with my students. You never know what might encourage the next generation of artist and writers.
She might do it but you will never know if you don't try.
Heck I rather read about this then seeing Dc race change yet another character because they don't care about the minorities they already have.
Ironically, "Oracle" doesn't exist anymore over at the Distinguished Competition. Hmm..
side note- why hasn't the Archie movie come out yet?

Dan Parent is writing it so I have to believe this will be good. He is the writer of Kevin Keller and did a great job of incorporating a gay male character seamlessly into the Archieverse so I am sure a physically disabled girl will be a great addition. I can't wait.
I have to admit to give Archie Comics the praise it deserves for not only are they progressing their own trademark characters throughout the decades, but they are also starting to recognize that the readership of today comics are changing to.
We may enjoy the superheroes of the today comics, but when it comes to Archie comics, at least they try to stick to tradition, but also adding in some modern day tactics as well.
