I can't be the only one that got strong Wonder Woman vibes from Antje Traue in Man of Steel. The whole time I was watching, I was thinking to myself "that's Wonder Woman." Especially during her action scenes.

She was good at action scenes, but I didn't got any WW vibes from her. Too cold
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
--Lord Alfred Tennyson--
That was just solid acting since that was how the character was supposed to be. Honestly I was thinking the same thing as the OP, that the actress playing Faora would be perfect for WW especially with those effects and fight choreography.
I'd like to see Diana fighting like that but that's about it.
"It is the dawn that brings the pain, the night that brings the dream."
"Come find me when you wake up."
She was really great in that movie.
I don't know about the 'wonder woman vibes' but I think she was awesome.
"If I wanted smooth,I'd be with Hal Jordan."
I agree 200%!!! As she was kicking ass and doing her lines I thought to myself DC has their Wonder woman already and they do not even know it!i would have preferred her over Gal Gadot any day! Though I will give Gal a chance I think not casting Traue is a big mistake...is she working on any projects...I hope is doing well career wise.
You wouldn't, as per her breeding, empathy and morality had been removed from Faroa and she actually tells Clark that she is technically a highly trained sociopath, a remorseless killing machine. The only thing that would really get to her, like it did Zod, would be her failing in the duty she was born and raised to perform.
