Wooooooo!!!!! Yeah! Cant wait for this! Hawkman is like my favorite character after Batman and Green Arrow! If someone had told my younger self that Hawkman would be on live tv not once but twice in ten years I would have never believed it!
    And then there were none...

Can't say I'm thrilled with the casting choice- I was hoping for someone a little more rugged.

Or built. I don't know what would be difficult about the character, but that looks like a miss.

I'm just glad the actor isn't American where i would have had to endure episodes upon episodes where the actor would be reciting lines on the script instead of acting.

That's what they said about Grant Gustin and we see how that turned out.

Fine with the casting choice I guess. My only gripe is I would have liked them to just take the time to develop the Kendra character on her own.

So their powers are magic based in this? Can't say I'm thrilled about that.

I agree, he looks more Magic Mike then the rugged Hawkman. It's on The CW so all the actors have that generic cloned look.

The guy has potential, Ive seen his reel in youtube and he can act badass. Now I agree that Hawkman should be built like a brickhouse but for this guy with his background in martial arts and dancing Im sure adjusting his diet and weight training the size should come easy. For sure Hawkman needs to look swoler than Diggle.

Just saw Street Dance where Hentschel is the lead actor and although he has charisma I realized the guy is not tall. I googled him and he is like 5'10! WTF was CW thinking casting Hawkman almost as tall as Colton Haynes. Unless he doesn't put a serious amount of muscle mass the guy is going to look like a mouse next to guys like Diggle, Atom and even Arrow.

I checked out the different actors on imdb. They've got him at 5'11". I had the same thought as you when I checked the Arrow actors:

    Stephen Amell: 6'1"
    David Ramsey: 6'2"
    Brandon Routh: 6'2 1/2"

Ironically the Atom is the tallest one!

But then I checked the Flash actors:

    Grant Gustin: 6'2"
    Robbie Amell: 5'11"

Robbie Amell never looked 3 inches shorter than Gustin to me. I think Hentshel will be fine.
