Monet St Croix (M) Appreciation Thread

Well it's funny, PAD wrote her as seemingly having real feelings for Jamie until she found out that it had been a dupe then she got really upset, but after that until his death she didn't seem to care what happened to him so that was a bit odd that she got so upset at his death...before PAD wrote her she really didn't seem to care one way or the other about Jamie either...again a kind of storyline to make Jamie look good by having M and Siryn suddenly fall for him and all...

As for M I just hope that they don't sweep it all under the rug as if it never happened...especially not to then have her lecture another character on things...

Yeah, his death was hitting her hard in Uncanny, and did still seem to be a source of some of her anger. Bunn talked about their relationship briefly, and mentioned how he always felt Jamie's death would be hard for her.

But Marvel doesn't address anything with her. Strong Guy is out of Hell, and he's not been shown meeting Monet once. Seems that relationship is ignored. Her relationship with Creed was outright dropped and not liable to come up again. It's questionable if she's gonna be shown interacting with Jamie now that he's coming back.

Then there's all her trauma of dying and going to Hell, the numerous cases of manipulation & abuse from her brother. What drove her to working with Magneto & joining the HFC, and if they're even gonna remember or address that.

Monet has a lot of story to tell, and tons of wasted potential. Writers start threads with her, but none of them ever get tied up. They're just left there. I won't be surprised if her possession is just another thing that won't be addressed.
