The only New 52 Batwoman issues that mention the relationship are #1 and #0. (The #0 month #0 issue, not the one that came before Flashpoint and is in the first trade). They repeatedly spell "Reneé" "Rene" in that issue. The later Secret Origins issue retcons Reneé out of Kate's back story just in time for her to be reintroduced as Harvey Bullock's partner.

Her appearances in 52
Batwoman: Elegy
then the Batwoman New 52 series

Chronologically? I guess so. But I think the publication order might be best. Reading the #0 issue before "Elegy" will probably lessen the dramatic revelations in "Elegy".

Wait, I thin Elegy comes before 52 since it was in 52 where Montoya breaks up with her while Elegy was everything going down with her sister.

Yes, Elegy takes place after 52. There are a lot of flashbacks in the second half ("Go") and most of the #0 issue is taking from that.
