Visited a new comic shop that opened up sort of near me, guy that runs it works as a animator on the Marvel Avengers Assemble animated show. Its based in the same area as Weta Digital and most of NZs film production area. Anyway I walked in and was blown away because it only carries Oversized hardcover editions! The guy that owns it uses it as his own art studio as well, which is not shown. Its pretty small, with not a lot of books. But all the books you see below are not for sale they are reading copies! You are free to pick em up and sit on the couch and read them. The for sale stuff is in a cupboard if someone wants to buy. And they were reasonably priced too. So sweet.

That's the majority of them, there's probably another 15 in the next room which where more art books, some Movie books and how to draw comics. It's not a big shop but quite unreal to see one so specialized in certain comics.
