Scott and her are essentially Ant-man and Stinger (Wasp). Yeah, she was more interesting to me as Stature. I never cared for Wasp so Cassie becoming like Janet power wise is... just okaaaaay. It'll have to do for now.

    Probably just shrinking.

I also realise that now we have three women who basically have the same powers. Janet Van Dyne, Nadia Pym and now Stinger. There aren't really any women who show the ability to grow in size besides Kamala Khan. At least as Stature she would be doing something that isn't currently being done in Marvel Comics. I think if she did remain as Stature she could mainly shrink to Ant size along with her father but she would grow often when she felt that she should.

Exactly. That's what makes the choice to make her Stinger, and turn her into another Wasp, so disappointing. It only guarantees that she'll be that much less noticeable. Also, it could have been cool to see her team up with Kamala just to see a massive tag-team. Lol.

Giant Cassie and giant Kamala would be too much for any bad guy to handle. Maybe one day she'll be Stature once again and not be known as a Wasp clone.

They should've called Nadia ''Stinger'' if they were going to use that super-hero name, IMO.

I probably would have complained about them giving that identity to someone else then. Lol. I don't get the need for another Wasp or for Cassie to become the Wasp-like Stinger (again [unless Marvel was going to lose that name somehow]), but Stinger is her identity. Other than the powers and identity issue, I'm okay. I like Cassie and Scott becoming a team.

Janet does grow sometimes, it's just rare (she's rather clumsy with it, being much more used to using the Wasp powerset). At one point she simultaneously used two codenames: Wasp and Giant-Woman. When Hank was Giant-Man for the first time, he would still call himself Ant-Man when shrunk.

I remember that from 2004. Didn't last long though.

Stinger is in Avengers Academy! It looks like L1 is civilian Cassie, L3 is Stature (but with her hairstyle and colour scheme from Astonishing Ant-Man), and L5 is Stinger.

I have no idea why the Stinger identity bothers people. it's, literally, the same power set (but with wings and stingers). Pym particles work both ways.

Yeah, Stinger's an upgrade. She can still grow giant and be Stature if she chooses to - like how Hank used to shrink down to use his Ant-Man abilities even when he was Giant-Man and Goliath, or Janet briefly being Giant Woman (even when she gained that ability, she still preferred being small as the Wasp - she proved quite clumsy as a giant!). Cassie basically now has the powers of Ant-Man, Wasp, and Giant-Man combined (which it appears will be showcased in Avengers Academy). She just hasn't had time to go giant again considering Astonishing Ant-Man got cancelled only one arc after she was repowered.

I kind of hope that the design of her costume alters itself when she goes giant-sized; like it did for Pym during Busiek's Avengers.
