Any word on Prez?

Just saw it's marked for only 6 issues? Were sales that bad? Can't be as bad as MARTIAN MANHUNTER or BAT-MITE, surely.

I thought PREZ was one of the best things DC published recently.

It was always a mini-series. I thought it was supposed to be 12 issues, but I may have that confused with Bizarro.

It's been split into two six issue minis. So still 12 issues total just 1-6 and then 1-6 again. Probably something like Prez Second term i would guess

Ah thank the gods, I got worried since I thought it was just a 12 issue mini-series and they surely can't wrap this all up in 6.

Maybe they want to just split it Season 1, Season 2- so it gets a sales bump? That's kind of smart actually.

I have a feeling that they split it into 2 so that if sales become abysmal, they can cancel the 2nd half while at least having a complete chapter or story they can possibly release in trade.

Maybe the second half intends to return as a Vertigo title? I read somewhere that the team had wished it was, lemme find the link to that.

It certainly would sell better like that and besides the abundance of WAYNE FOUNDATION logos, it doesn't need to be the DCU.

It would be a shame if that happened. I'm not as enamored by Prez as most people that read it seem to be, but it is a good title with a unique voice that really stands out these days.

I love Prez so far but Martian Manhunter sold significantly better, lol, and with good reason.
