Nope, its a whole new thing but it's the same concept. Some characters do carry over into this, though.

Personally I think it's excellent! If you like satire and the concept of a teen president in the near future, I'd say check it out. Great art too so you can't go wrong.

This is one of the best books DC has out right now. I wish it was an ongoing, and not a limited series...but I doubt an ongoing Prez book could sustain more than 12 issues anyway just because not many people are gonna buy it, unfortunately.

Just saw it's marked for only 6 issues? Were sales that bad? Can't be as bad as MARTIAN MANHUNTER or BAT-MITE, surely.

I thought PREZ was one of the best things DC published recently.

DC's best book since it came out for me.

It's definitely good, but I don't think it's quite as great as people make it out to be. I think the satire is a bit low hanging fruit so far, but maybe that's just politics in a Twitter and soundbite age. One truly great part of the book is that it definitely has a heart and humanity that most comics can't seem to find. I really felt for Beth as she talked to her father in the hospital as he wasted away from a designer virus, but I also laughed hard at the nurse/euthanasia robot. Caldwell's art is pretty excellent, too. Definitely worth checking out.
