So, I'm a recent subscriber to Marvel Unlimited. I knew that Marvel had gotten the license to Star Wars comics back from Dark Horse, but I had no idea that meant they'd be reselling those DH comics digitally.
Does anyone know how this works out in terms of artist and writer compensation? Were all of those Star Wars comics done purely as work-for-hire?

As far as I know, neither Marvel nor any of the writers or artists involved have made any statements on it.
That said, I can't imagine it wasn't work for hire. We're talking about licensed comics, here.
