Haha, no one really;
I just like Marve-izing DC rogues galleries and vice versa.

But if i had to pick someone, I wouldn’t mind pitching a book starring perennial C-lister Nighthawk...



...on some crazy space adventures well out of his league against powerful aliens like Kl’Bn, Abraxas and Ex Nihila. I’d play w. NH’s strength after dark power, as in space it’s basically always super dark. His strength would reach levels that’d surprise both him and his opponents. And of course fellow Defender Silver Surfer’d show up to save NH’s ass eventually.

On earth he could have more traditional adventures w. guys like Smuggler (and maybe his over protective brother Atlas), Leo, Peeper, fellow C-lister Crossfire, Mad Thinker and Birdy. Encounters w. Ruby Thursday would be cool given their Defenders related history; she’d be his Catwoman. Molecule Man’d lead to more out of his league moments and see him encountering the FF maybe.

He could have a Savage Land adventure (I always loved when guys like Spidey and the X-Men would have those as a kid) and team w. Ka-Zar against the Pterons.

NH’s established fascination w. Magic (he even has a magical advisor, Papa Hagg) and magical artifacts could lead him down creepier paths against foes like Nephrus, Black Talon, and Zombie Master (and i’d have NH go looking for help from Dr. Strange at least once only to find him gone and so team up w. Wong).

Yeah, a book like that would be pretty fun!

I never had the chance to read NEW UNIVERSE: PSI-FORCE, but I'm just glad you included Wind-Dancer (A.K.A. Sophia Mantega). She's my favorite member from both New Mutants (2003) & Academy X (2004).

PSI FORCE was a cool concept, but like most of the New Universe books it started really hitting its stride once the line was slated for cancellation.

I thought having a bunch of young mutants channel Thunderbird’s spirit as a kind of super powered psychic entity’d be on target. I was looking for kids to use (Wind Dancer was actually my first pick), and wasn’t getting a mix of characters I really liked, when I realized just using her entire team would be easier AND fit the idea just fine.

Squirrel Girl (Spongebob Squarepants): Upbeat, bucktoothed leader and owner of the team pet.
Butterball (Patrick Star): Uh...I think this one is pretty obvious.
Mr. Sensitive (Squidward Tentacles): Guy Smith from X-Statix. The bummer character/lancer to the upbeat leader.
Shuri (Sandy Cheeks): Enthusiastic, genius inventor from another land.
Nighthawk (Mr. Krabs): Kyle Richmond. Older than the others. The money man. His greed would be for being part of a great superhero team instead of money. Like he usually does, he comes into a superhero team and starts funding it.

I was thinking of, like She-Thing for Pearl, and a few others, so I might come back to this.
