    Default Three's a Crowd

Game I thought of, let's see how well this works

You're a writer for Marvel, and one day in the office you're tasked with creating a new ongoing title starring 3 characters. You can have whichever characters you like, and the 3 of them will be on a team together (doesn't have to be an "official" team; it could just be an unlikely trio if you wish) and face off against some threat, whatever threat you like (you have all characters, heroic or villainous, at your disposal).

What story will you tell? Name your three protagonists, name any antagonists you plan to use, dictate how many issues or arcs you estimate your series to be, and clearly describe the storyline you would write. You could write the "Sparknotes" of your storyline (a beginning-to-end summary of the entire story) or you could just write brief synopsis of the plot without giving away the ending to your story.
Let's see what people can come up with!

Sons of the Tiger (Lin Sun, Abe Brown, Bob Diamond). Basically, it's a 4 issue homage to The Warriors & The Raid.

Scott Lang, Felicia Hardy, Hobie Brown. A leverage-style team that gets involved in corporate espionage.

The Protagonists: Moon Knight, Black Panther, Brother Voodoo

    The Antagonist(s): The Grim Reaper

The Plot: A newly resurected and God-Powered Grim Reaper returns, and starts hunting down the various Earthly Avatars of the Gods. So, Bast and Khonshu send their champions to stop him. Brother Voodoo tags along since he has a better understanding of the spiritual world and so he can "guide" them.

Thanks man! Ever since their partnership in Priest's BP run I've wanted them to team-up again.

    TRINITY

PROTAGONISTS: Storm, Doctor Voodoo and Karma.
A good spread of powers, personality and very diverse (win win). Voodoo and Karma would be an interesting combo, since he can do a lot of what she can, but maybe her "connection" might make a good bond between Jericho and Daniel.

    ANTAGONIST: Selene, the Black Queen.
The team is uber powerful, they need someone major; who is also magically a boss. The Hellfire Club gives her lots of minions to include, and the money to hire in B-list villains to send against the team from time-to-time.

THE PLOT: Based across the world, Storm is tasked with retrieving Karma from a magical temple in North Korea, which Karma infiltrated for her own purpose. Storm brings Jericho, for his magical advice. When they arrive, they find the Hellfire Club has beaten them too it, and Karma is possessed by some powerful demon, that they must free her of. Once done, the plot unravels.

Not great... probably more of a mini-series concept. But I like my team idea.

"We are Shakespeare. We are Michelangelo. We are Tchaikovsky. We are Turing. We are Mercury. We are Wilde. We are Lincoln, Lorca, Leonardo da Vinci. We are Alexander the Great. We are Fredrick the Great. We are Rustin. We are Addams. We are Marsha! Marsha Marsha Marsha! We so generous, we DeGeneres. We are Ziggy Stardust hooked to the silver screen. Controversially we are Malcolm X. We are Plato. We are Aristotle. We are RuPaul, god dammit! And yes, we are Woolf."

Boomerang, Speed-Demon and (new) Beetle are the Frightful Four (yes there's only three of them).
Basically it would be a total rip-off of Superior Foes with more of the same shenanigans as Boomerang tries to screw everyone around him (including his own team members) in the pursuit of money and fame.

LOVE THIS!!! The Frightful Four (with three) made me both chuckle and soarly miss that series. VERY excited to see Beetle in the Ant-Man series (by Spencer).
