Which comic is that Ross Superman/Marvel scene from? I love Ross DC, and his Captain Marvel in particular, and I don't remember that being in Kingdom Come, Justice, or The World's Greatest Superheroes.

I'm not certain. It might be from Paul Dini's Shazam: Power of Hope.

I think the epic pose and scene composition is a bit of a nod and opposite reflection of the Kingdom Come "Armageddon has arrived" scene, where at first Cap. Marvel arrives to fight Superman.
In Justice it's the opposite, he's there as savior to give Superman a helping hand.

If you take Justice as somewhat of a prequel to KC, it makes the scene of the grinning mind-controlled Billy even more tragic.
