What a great story! It reminded me of when I was a child and went to Disneyland the first time. The place lit up my creative juices and I started writing a pirate story as soon as I got home. I havent read much of Ron' work in recent years but his Silver Surfer run was something I ran to the comic store to pick up month after month.
thanks for posting this. the truth is we can create all kinds of these places if we are willing to put in some work. and commitment to the idea. i have seen it, its heaven for any creative person. im willing to put in some work. currently in ohio. but willing to travel.
its interesting what you said about picking up the ball. and you yourself mustve seen so many talents come and go. i remember yer name from dc.
hippy communes dont work out. major studios with major funding do.
thanks for another look at the lucky few, most of us are scrambling for the ball. we cant all fit in that glass box, but i guess im glad its there too.
