Well, I met Marie Osmond and had my picture taken with her wa-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ay back in 1982. And I pressed the flesh with Stan Lee at a convention many years ago, then, as now, he was an uber-cool guy. That's pretty much it.

I've met a few members of the Clan too but unfortunately not Raekwon. Inspectah Deck actually ended up paying a friend of mine to draw/paint on a pair of Timberlands for him.

It was a long time ago, but my uncle was an off Broadway and traveling actor for lots of old touring productions (He traveled all over the world playing Mr. Cellophane in Chicago. I was a teenager so that's the only thing i remember seeing him in that stands out.) He was and understudy for Jerry Orbach in the Fantastix when it was on Broadway. When he died in 1996 Jerry Orbach was nice enough to come to the funeral and was very kind to our family. I also met Polly Holliday (Flo from the old Alice tv show) at the funeral and she was nice enough to bring humor to a sad time, going so far as to do her famous "Kiss my Grits" line for my brother and I.

I met Tyler Hoechlin from Teen Wolf/7th Heaven on vacation in Cabo and Vanessa Hudgins in Vegas. Celebrities that drive teenager girls crazy are apparently drawn to me.

Crap, I thought you met Ginuwine. Then I remembered G was named after Elgin Baylor.

Me, I haven't 'met' any celebrity per se. I've 'spotted' a couple Dutch celebrities in the centre of Amsterdam, though. But that's so easy, it doesn't count.

I've been to way too many conventions to list everyone I've met. I'll do the Reader's Digest version. Even that will be overly long and uninteresting.

Star Wars: Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, both Boba Fetts, Jango Fett, more glorified extras than you can shake a gaffi stick at, and Jake Lloyd

Firefly: Everyone in the main credits except Gina Torres

Superman, all of them: Noel Neill, Jack Larson, Tim Daly, Dana Delaney, Margot Kidder, Marc McClure, Helen Slater, Sarah Douglas, Michael Rosenbaum, John Glover, Allison Mack, Laura Vandervoort, Dean Cain

Batman: Adam West (douche), Burt Ward (super nice, making Adam West--sitting right next to him--look like an even bigger douche), Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether, Yvonne Craig

Authors: Mickey Spillane, Max Allan Collins, Jim Butcher, Brad Meltzer, Joe Hill, a ton of Star Wars authors

Assorted famous people: Gene Simmons, Alice Cooper, Tom Morello, Gillian Anderson, John Barrowman, the Mythbusters Build Team, Felicia Day

And I saw Bob Costas in an airport men's room.

Only bad experiences were Adam West and Billy Dee Williams--who looked like they would rather be having Marathon Man dental surgery than be signing autographs at a convention--and Jason Mamoa (Stargate: Atlantis and Game of Thrones), who was talking to a co-star of his and acted like I was annoying him asking for his autograph.

There are more, of course. I have two 1.5" binders full of autographed pictures.

You met Joel Hodgson, but not mike Nelson? I've always liked Mike better, he seemed more personable, where as Joel seem more unapproachable.
