It may just be me, but I sure as heck think Marvel could have found a better voice than Tieri to handle this book. Not that he's bad, but I've never been bowled over by his work.

It's the kind of hiring that makes it feel like a great missed opportunity to bring in a fresh writer, maybe add a little diversity to the line.

I admit, I rolled my eyes when I saw this considering how they promoted Inhumans as a GOT-esque story.

The problem is that with a place like Weirdworld, why would you take a GOT approach to fantasy, especially since it's going to be pretty PG?

Not a fan of Weird World, LOVE the Black Knight. Luca Pizzari, eeeeh. I really miss George Perez, sigh. But still, better than a lot of who bring Marvel to life these days.

Tieri wrote a great Black Knight story in New Excalibur. The Original Sins Black Knight story he wrote was good, too. I'm excited for this.
