The Mountain is a 180 pages long, darkly toned, post-apocalyptic, dystopian scifi-noir graphic novel.
We go to indiegogo in the first half of september, but our fist chapter is available now to download!

WHAT IS THE MOUNTAIN?

“When Man left Nature, Nature too has left Man to itself...”

The Mountain is a darkly toned graphic novel by Bálint Bánk Varga and Márk Pintér. It's a post-apocalyptic dystopian story with characteristics of noir, political drama and sci-fi classics besides the sci-fi and fantasy cult classic movie elements.

Perhaps in bygone times or maybe in the distant future, the remains of mankind is forced to live inside an enormous mountain, while its immense rock walls are ceaselessly besieged by eternal winter. In the midst of racial and social conflicts the heroes of The Mountain are facing an inner war and the conception of an aggressive religious regime, whilst finding traces of life in the world outside the Mountain. Amidst the intrigues of common men and great powers, the great secret may be uncovered: what happened to human civilization?

Part One of the comics is planned to run 180 pages long and is supported by a 25 pages long prelude comics. At the first half of september 2015, we would like to fund the publishing by a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, including the costs of creative work, printing and distribution of the comics. We will need the help of everyone who finds our project promising.
