This sounds like a real throwback to classic Hellboy. Can't wait to see Stenbeck tackle HB, as he did a great job on his Hellboy Animated mini-comic all those years ago.

Yeah, I remember Mike saying he wanted to get back to Hellboy: Blue Collar Monster Hunter and it looks like this is his outlet.

Mine too, don't get me wrong I love all the big world building stuff about the crown and hell but the simplicity of a big guy with a stone hand punching monsters in the face was what drew me to the character and I love those stories the best. Originally Posted by gearsofcrabs

Loved The Phantom Hand, and love that it was mentioned by Harry back in chapter one of Darkness Calls.
I won't post any spoilers before the west coast is even awake, but I enjoyed this issue. I love a nice Hellboy short story.

Wow, this comic was fantastic! I hope Ben Stenbeck comes back to draw more Hellboy after next month's issue.
