Casper Crump sounds like the name of a typical DC supporting character!

Or the real name of a typical Stan Lee created Superhero.
I'm convinced that most people, who hate on a comic, never read said comic.

It's amusing how they try to limit the incredible-ness of these incredible characters, so they're still incredible but not so incredible. Here it says that Vandal Savage is 6,000 years old. So still an incredible age, but not quite as incredible as being 50,000 years old.

We'll see how this works out. With Ra's al Ghul, his origins were quite confusing. He was still very old but not ancient. Maybe the 6,000 is just the minimum and Vandal Savage might actually be much older.

So he wasn't a caveman zapped by a space rock?

Well, the article only states that he's been a bug in the ear of power for 6,000 years, which is the ~beginning of recorded history, so it doesn't limit his age. However, I doubt they'll go with 50,000 years old, since it would be weird that he has European characteristics when human colonization of Europe didn't even begin until 40-50 thousand B.C., if I recall correctly.

Yeah, it implies that's just how long he's been active in influencing the world, not that it's exactly how long he's lived.

From that image alone, he definitely looks like Savage, so on that alone I'd say he's a great pick. Can't wait to see his performance .

Wiki lists Savage as being Cro-Magnon which were fairly human looking and existing 40,000 years ago. In fact they usually are referred to now as "European early modern humans"
