    Great discussion!!
I always tought Hellboy in Hell has an open end - no way they would tease Pluto and everything Sir Edward said and leave it.

Catching up on Hell Notes and the 2017 retrospectives/Ahead in 2018 today...

I really enjoyed the 'Messiah' Hell Notes. I have faith Mignola knows what he's doing, but I can certainly understand the concerns discussed.

Some thoughts on the "Mignolaverse in 2017" and "Ahead in 2018" stuff:

I didn't know Peter Bergting drew for Injustice 2. That is awesome.

As for vampire cats in 1954 - I don't think a story about a vampire cat could live up to the impossible expectations I would have. It's like the inside of Snoopy's house.

I had completely forgotten that the stuff in Koshchei the Deathless was first referenced 11 years ago. Wow!

BTW, the commenter named "Lobster Johnson" on Mignolaversity articles isn't me. Somebody nicked my username!

Ha! Great analogy. Have to admit I feel the same way.

There’s an image somewhere of HB battling a giant cat in samurai armor. Not recalling the issue/book it’s in, but I’ve always been curious about that run in and if it would ever get fleshed out.

I mean, to be fair, you did steal it first.

    Default Hell Notes: Eris

New Hell Notes. I owe zerodemon and Kees_L for this one. My Hell Notes are often overwrought big topics, and it was nice to handle something much smaller.

Swell stuff Mark! Excellent Notes (as always) and thanks for the honorable mention!

Oh, love it! I utterly forgot about the witch from Lost and Gone Forever! Great Hell Notes.

That was an excellent, very concise refresher. Thanks Mark!

I wasn't planning on buying the omnibuses because I already have the library editions, but now I want to have both.

I think I'll get the omnibuses digitally. It'd be nice to have a version that can travel with me.

That's a good idea. I wasn't even thinking that they'd be available digitally, but I see the first one is for sale now.
