That's super tough. I went with Jean DeWolff, as a short form Spidey arc. For the best long-running story, it's probably the alien costume saga that culminated in ASM #300 and Venom.

Waitasec - are you asking for objective, or subjective "Best" Spider-Man story?

Objective: "The Night Gwen Stacy Died" / "The Goblin's Last Stand!" Amazing Spider-Man #121-122

Subjective: Whichever story has both a great Doctor Octopus battle royale, and Mary Jane Watson-Parker in lingerie.

Out of the list I've always enjoyed the ''Death of Jean DeWolff'' the most. Not because I was glad that the character died but I liked the way Daredevil was used in that story as I don't usually enjoy his character, don't usually hate him either but he's a ''meh'' character to me usually but not in this story.

Anyhow LOL that's my main reason for voting for the ''Death of Jean DeWolff''.

Had a hard time deciding between Kraven's Last Hunt and Jean DeWolff and finally voting for Jean DeWolff since I like how the writer plays with Spidey and Daredevil. As for Kraven's Last Hunt, IMO it's awesome on the first read but it has less impact when I re-read it.

Definitely had to go with the Jean DeWolff story. It's one of those stories I can always read.

This isn't on the poll, but I think the Doctor Octopus/Owl Gang War is definitely up there.

Clone Saga, JMS run because of his brilliant writing of the marriage, Renew Your Vows because of the brilliant take on the marriage

The Other was more popular than I thought
