Magneto acts like they're his kids.

Yay, Rachel and Storm are okay.

To be honest I do not care for these two kids. I am a bit disappointed in this mini.
I rather had the focus on the surviving X-Men, then on two newbies who we will probably never see again when this mini is done.

Really been enjoying this series. It's been one of the most polished Secret Wars tie-ins. The last issue was a bit of a step back, but it didn't completely derail the story. This whole tie-in has been less about the dystopian future and more about a family trying to survive it. And that's what has made it so enjoyable.

This is why I'm glad I decided to wait before I buy anything except for X-Men '92. Just saved myself money and trouble by avoiding this for these very reasons. I'm so tired of one off characters who get the spotlight for one few issue run and then disappear or fade into the background never to be heard from again. Besides, alternate future kids of X-Men lost their novelty years ago.
