    Depends what you are interested in.

    I'd say Amazing Spider-Man. Its the flagship title and consistently has great well-balanced stories. Slott does a good job.

    Amazing Spider-Man. It's the flagship title, and just had a new #1, so it should be rather accessible.

    2099 and Ultimate also feature different leads, and more convoluted backstory.
