Default Who else is reading Gotham by Midnight?

I've been loving Gotham by Midnight since it began but haven't seen much talk about it on here. Am I some anomaly here or is there a silent mass of readers who love this book so much that they just don't feel the need to comment on how good it is… Because it's pretty great.

    It is pretty good.
But i get a sense that people are confused by the title and how relatively removed it is from anything associated with that name (which I think is a good thing).

Since it's a "Gotham" book, instead of looking in the general "DC Comics" section of the forums you should try the "Batman" section?

Count me as another who loves it. The stories have had a nice gothic horror feel, while the art's been incredible (esp the last couple of issues). Very good series.

I'd argue that it shouldn't be there since it's not a Batman book, it just takes place in the same city.

It's the Gotham City Police Department. Batman has ties to it. It probably get's more attention if you tie it in to the Bat-family titles than if you leave it hanging on its own.

Now one of the few DC titles I consistently get. Wasn't too thrilled by the recent "annual," but over all, very much enjoying this 'tangent' to the usual DC super universe. Miss Templesmith's art, of course, but 'the new guy' isn't so bad, for all that...

I'm loving this book myself. It's got a great horror and gothic feel to it and the stories and are both excellent as well.

Check out Lion Forge's Catalyst Prime Universe. Its the best damned superhero verse in comics. Diverse characters and interesting stories set in a universe where anyone can be a hero. And company that prides itself on representation both in the comics themselves and in the people behind them.

Sounds like a spiritual successor to Gotham Central with more mysticism.

    Imma check it out.

It's been pretty good so far. Lots of Spectre action, but the whole team gets their chances to shine. Some of the art in the first arc is downright creepy. It's nailing the ghosty haunted vibe really well.

The series was collected in two volumes.

Volume 1 = We Do Not Sleep

Volume 2 = Rest in Peace
