Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
While I see what you are trying to say, not really.
On the one hand, you had a guy fess up to saying something really stupid. On the other hand, you had a woman who has called other women "Trailer Trash"(While not openly taking her husband to task, mind you) trying to talk about a world where men are holding women back.
It's a bit murky.
You're just accepting Trump narratives unquestioningly now. It wasn't something stupid, he was bragging about sexual assaults. That's just one incident in a life of deep misogyny. You know what Trump thinks a woman should do if she's being sexually harassed at work? Get another job.
The "trailer trash" comment is a second-hand story from a book. The worst Clinton ever was on Flowers publicly was calling her a "failed cabaret singer."
If all you Trump defenders have got to fall back on as he does horrible things is "B-b-but Clinton!" It's going to be a long damn four years for you.

If you're gonna continue to dismiss Trump and the concerns Trump voters have about America, then it's going to be a long damn four years for you, Not everyone has polished political correctness as as high as an issue as you and the rest of the dismissive outrage types.

I think what happened with Tump is that there is a certain subset of people who don't care about right or wrong, good or bad or even how a leader will affect them personally. They vote on their perception of strength. These are exemplified by a comment gathered when Rick Perry was running for President and was criticized for executing an innocent man. One of his supporters was quoted as saying "It takes balls to execute an innocent man."

That's the Trump voter that votes against his own interest and ignores the fact that the guy is an immoral, ignorant con man.
How is it not? You're comparing a splinter to a decapitation and calling them equal. It's the falsest of equivalencies and it minimizes and normalizes Trump. The fact that most of your argument depends on the guileless acceptance of right wing propaganda and dubious tell-all books is also problematic.
As for the guy in question...
That his kids running his own company looks like it will shake out to be quite a bit like the whole Clinton foundation mess is priceless.
