If anything, the right is setting things up in a way that you -cannot- educate the masses about the realities of situations, so that anything left they will believe will be propaganda.

So, how do we teach people critical thinking?
How do we get around him trying to make his audience stupid by taking away their tools to make an informed decision?
As you pointed out, even FoxNews is becoming more critical of Trump.

We'll see how many of Trump's supporters are able to believe that the only people telling the truth are Trump and leather fetish youtube nazis.

    Oh for dog's sake!
People's right to vote has been undermined by the GOP for YEARS! That is why we needed you to vote for Hillary so we would not get Trump SCOTUS nominees.

In completely related news, the WP reported on Wednesday:

Do voter identification laws suppress minority voting? Yes. We did the research.

    "Undermined" ain't "Stripped".

    It's not even close.

Oh for pete's sake, 30. Even you can do better than this. What exactly do you think that undermining consists of? If underminining someone's right to vote removes their ability to vote, than they have been STRIPPED of their right to vote. Your ridiculous word games don't change that.

Hispanics are affected the most: Turnout is 7.1 percentage points lower in general elections and 5.3 points lower in primaries in strict ID states than it is in other states. Strict ID laws mean lower African American, Asian American and multiracial American turnout as well. White turnout is largely unaffected.
So, turn out drops. Votes doh't get voted or don't get counted. Then you add things like Crosscheck and that's not even getting into other forms of skuldugger and voter intimidation that actually happen, such as the closing of DMVs to reduce minority access to the ID they need to vote in the first place.

Come on, 30. What do you think is happening to these people? They are having barriers placed in front of them that prevent them from voting and thus can not participate in their fundamental franchise as Americans. Playing semantics about how that's not really 'stripping' them of their right to vote is really quite revealing.

    Come on.

While I'm not about to say there are not efforts to make it difficult to vote happening in some places, making it difficult to vote is not the same as actually stripping someone's right to vote.

If the end result is someone is unable to vote then, yes, it's /exactly the same freaking thing/ as an end result. That's why they do it.

    But Tendrin!
The outcome was more people not voting, which is what #30 did and probaly wanted them to do, so he wins!

Dude, you are figuratively killing me here.

You are saying this actually amounts to the same thing as when minorities did not actually have the right to vote?

Should they just have thrown the towel in back then?

    Seriously, though...

In a country where this is taking place more and more often, is the plan that actually makes sense to you guys "Let's just throw our hands up, and hope someone manages to undo this wrong?"

And I'd like to see this world you keep mentioning where you don't have to accept any accountability for your words and actions, ever.

In Campaign-Style Rally, Trump Promises New Immigration Action, Obamacare Replacement

The president was at ease among his supporters. Yeah, after a rough week in Washington, Trumplethinskin goes to Florida to get his orange ass kissed by his loyal lemmings. I can't help womdering if this is going to be a weekly occurance, all on the taxpayer's dime.

At this rate, we won't see a Democrat President until 2032.
