We can't discount the possibility, though, that he picked up on this distorted piece of intelligence with the express intention of blowing it out of proportion, knowing that once he put it out there, the journalists would have to talk about it, and would thus give less time to any and all "Russian hacking" stories.

Trump may indeed be a rabid dingo, but he knows how to keep the 24-hour news stations talking about what he wants them to talk about. What we need now is a full-fledged scandal from which there can be no distractions. That's one big reason I was against the leaking of the Billy Bush fragment: it was worthless garbage which Trump could easily dismiss as "locker-room talk," and may have helped Trump more than it hurt him.

I think the reason why he's more unhinged than usual lately is that they are getting close to something with the Russian connection. Hey, there may actually be a "golden shower" video or worse for him...some substantial proof of collusion between the Trump camp and Putin's operatives concerning the election. The part where Trump surrogates and Fox news likes to mince words is that you have no proof of them hacking the election, which they seem to think is someone physically tampering with the voting machines. It's the seeds of doubt that were the big story, especially the closer you get to election day. That was part of Julian Assange's role in the whole scheme.

Stupid person tries to defend stupid Trump Twitter rant.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes held a briefing on Tuesday afternoon where he addressed President Donald Trump’s wild and unsubstantiated Twitter allegations that former President Barack Obama wiretapped his office.

Nunes said he had not seen any evidence that would back up the claims. When asked whether it was appropriate for Trump to make such a bold assertion without evidence or before any investigation, Nunes said, “I think a lot of the things that he says, you guys take literally.” He added that “we should [not] attack the president for tweeting.”

After explaining that he doesn’t expect the president to be “lawyered up” regularly, Nunes admitted, “I want him to be clear about what he’s asking and the assertions that he’s making.”

Twitter Noticed An Error On The New Green Trump Hats

Last week, Team Trump announced a special green edition of their “Make America Great Again” hats. In a thrilling holiday update, the back of the hat bears a symbol to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day.

In other Trump news, because the guy hasn't been hiring enough people or filling positions in the Department of Commerce, Mexico is cancelling sugar export permits to U.S. because there's no one around to negotiate the damn deal or solve this problem.

U.S. sugar prices have soared since late last year when Washington said the 2014 deal that suspended large duties on sugar from Mexico after a trade investigation may not be working as intended.

The U.S. domestic raw sugar contract on ICE Futures U.S. SFSc1 settled at 31.71 cents per lb on Tuesday, the highest in nearly five years.

The license cancellation by Mexico adds to protracted marketplace uncertainty, said Richard Pasco, president of the Sweetener Users Association trade group.

"We need adequate supplies and the lack of resolution is a problem," he told Reuters in a phone interview on Tuesday.

The document made no suggestion that the present dispute was related to the wider politics, but described as "absurd" an interpretation by "low-level" U.S. Commerce Department officials of a clause in so-called suspension agreements.

The dispute centers on an interpretation of how the Mexican government issues export licenses to ensure supplies enter the United States at a regulated pace.

It was not immediately clear how many sugar export permits were canceled or what penalties Mexico had faced.

The Economy Ministry decided to cancel the permits since it has no counterparts at the U.S. Department of Commerce to resolve the issue, the document said. Mill owners should consider legally challenging the decision, it said.

Staff positions remain unfilled in several U.S. government departments, a situation Mexican officials say has made it difficult to negotiate trade issues. A spokesman for the U.S. Department of Commerce did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

The Trump administration, searching for money to build the president’s planned multibillion-dollar border wall and crack down on illegal immigration, is weighing significant cuts to the Coast Guard, the Transportation Security Administration and other agencies focused on national security threats, according to a draft plan.

The proposal, drawn up by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), also would slash the budget of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which provides disaster relief after hurricanes, tornadoes and other natural disasters. The Coast Guard’s $9.1 billion budget in 2017 would be cut 14 percent to about $7.8 billion, while the TSA and FEMA budgets would be reduced about 11 percent each to $4.5 billion and $3.6 billion, respectively.

The cuts are proposed even as the planned budget for the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees all of them, grows 6.4 percent to $43.8 billion, according to the plan, which was obtained by The Washington Post. Some $2.9 billion of that would go to building the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, with $1.9 billion funding “immigration detention beds” and other Immigration and Customs Enforcement expenses and $285 million set aside to hire 500 more Border Patrol agents and 1,000 more ICE agents and support staffers.

I agree on the WTF?! idea of escort services, given how china tends to actually view them. 38, well that's not an unusual number, *cough* yes it is *cough* for business in China. Can we see how much he had to bribe these government agencies to allow for that. Because 38 for a non native Chinese person is really not that common.
