"By force of will he turns his gaze upon the seething horror bellow us on the hillside.
Yes, he feels the icy touch of fear, but he is not cowed. He is Superman!"
I know. It's patently ridiculous to list an election where someone won in the Electoral college but lost the popular vote as one of the landslide election wins in American history. More than 50% of the population wanted Hillary Clinton as president, not Trump, by actual votes. At the very least, someone would have to win the popular vote and the Electoral college to have a landslide win. Instead, we are talking about an election where, no matter who won, roughly half the country didn't want that person as president. Half the people who did vote for Trump (or Clinton) wanted to take a shower after and were really voting against someone, not for someone. That's some landslide.
Power with Girl is better.
Indeed, he seems very surprised, ecstatic, doesnt know how to deal with the unexpected result, the madman is literally dancing on the table.
There were a few experts that said it would either be close or that he would win, they were mocked and shunned, disgusting display.
Say what you will about the man, hes not dumb, and he knows how to lead and inspire.
Whoever the Trump wrangler is on his staff needs to close his Twitter account. It was all well and good when he was just Donald Trump to tweet whatever thing popped into his head, but as the President Elect he needs to realize Twitter is not his friend. It just does not come off well to have the soon to be leader of the free world saying stupid stuff on Twitter.
would be funny if Twitter suspended his account
he just wanted to win, who knows if he actually wanted to be President
like King Robert in GoT, won the throne but ill suited to rule
icon_lol.gif By screaming wolf! he made sure the elections would be more closely watched, and made the people aware that the establishments candidate could conceivably pull something like that, i can think of several reasons why that would benefit him and none that would harm him or his image in any way.
As my friend Velour Fog would say. 4d Chess.
I have thought this since the start. It started as a publicity stunt that just got away from him. It was like he was going out of his way late in the race to say things to try and throw the election, but it was too late. He never really wanted to win and now he is stuck.
Oh yeah. We've sat here and had our little coffee klatch for a year where the main arguments were about whether Hillary was lefty and Bernie Sanders-esque enough. We had one Trump troll but most of these guys were nowhere to be seen. No defenses of Trump, no advocating for giving him a chance. But then the thing we never expected happened and they come out of the woodwork because it's a chance to rub it in some liberal faces. It's all about trolling and not worth taking seriously.
