I think that's a good choice! There's not much room for her in the Iron Man franchise, and the mask makes a bit more sense given the theatrical nature of her new backstory. (assuming they even put her in a mask - which they would be stupid not to....) Maybe this will be a chance to introduce the Maggia into the MCU instead of having to rely on Hydra all the time.
I like the idea of Madame Masque being the villain. I'm so looking forward to this season.
I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.

Heh... the article says she'll be a character *like* Hedy Lamarr. Not Hedy Lamarr herself.
Though that would be cool, her estate probably wouldn't go for having her portrayed as a villain.
Aw, this means no Iron Man connection.
This does sound pretty cool, though.
Cyclops was right
I would have liked to see Madame Masque (and The Ghost) appear in an IM film. But they don't seem to be making more of those for the foreseeable future, so this is a good second option.
I wonder if she'll end up being a sort of "Proto-MM?" Like Dottie ended up being a sort of "proto-BW." Also, more female villains, specifically MAIN villains, is something that we need almost as much as main female heroes (A LOT). Even Dottie, as cool as she was, ended up being Doctor Faustus's henchwoman.
Brilliant spin on Madame Masque. We haven't had such an overtly feminine diva in the MCU or MCU tv shows before.
This is both a relief and a disappointment. When I saw that first post, I was like, "wait, what?" Actually, they should just go ahead and name her Hedy Wolfe, since she's a Marvel character that also dates back to the 40s.
But either way, big thumbs up to Madame Masque being the villain.

I hope that she still gets to kick ass (and gets at least one fight scene with Peggy).
This is a good idea. But if I'm not wrong, isn't she supposed to be Iron Man nemesis?
Is Peggy have nemesis in comic?
Great. Another marvel character ruined in service to the filmed entertainment.
