She's finally on the Avengers after waiting almost a decade since Avengers Forever with the classic excuse: "We can't use her, there are plans." Plans that were scrapped right afterwards leading to: "I don't know how to use her." Now, she's back! Go Melissa!

    I love Melissa.

"Natasha Romanoff, A.K.A. Black Widow - ex-KGB, formerly with S.H.I.E.L.D...Probably the brains of this operation.I have followed her career, and she has been consistently UNDERRATED."

It took a long time coming (since being foreshadowed in Avengers Forever in '98), but she's finally going to be an Avenger!

Melissa has one of the best story arcs in the Marvel Universe, being rescued from being one of the jobbiest of jobber villains (Screaming Mimi!), to the most innately heroic of the original Thunderbolts (other than Jolt, obviously, who didn't start out as a super-villain!).

"Screaming her way onto the scene"---how's that for a sub title?

I absolutely love Melissa. She's easily in my top 5 favorite Marvel female characters. From her early days on the Thunderbolts to now, she has been awesome. I would support a solo book by her

    “You had a dream; I have a plan”--Cyclops

“There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.”--The Doctor
