Elder Toguro from YuYu Hakusho in Sadao Makihara's(Gourmet) body is placed in Toriko at the beginning of the manga. Toguro is given the basic knowledge of the world and the beings in it. He decides he wishes to rule this new world by eventually eating it's most powerful inhabitants.
