Dragon*con 2015 - Who's going, and who wants to meet up for our traditional CBR lunch

(even tho most of the folks who join us for lunch no longer post on CBR. . but once did ).

Typically we meet at 1pm on Sat. in the Hyatt Bar, and then wander to a Restaurant close by (the past few years it's been an Asian restaurant down the street that Loren has gotten us reservations for. . but over the years, we've been to Diners, Pubs, and even a Hooters).

-- I'm there for sure.

-- and I know for sure Solaris and Troy will be joining us.

POSSIBLY Darkblade and Brekke (but they don't know yet for sure which day they will be at con)

Regular attendees (whom I'm unsure of at this point, but likely would be): DonC, Watcher, ChibiStarJumper (Megan). . .

anyone else going to be there this year who might want to meet up for lunch?

just bumping, because con starts 3 weeks from today

(tho not officially. but there IS an official party on Wed night).

still waiting for the schedule grids to go live (should happen later this week). . but it APPEARS that Dragon*con has dropped the "Comics" track?

I asked about it, and was pointed to artists alley, which is still there, and yep, there are quite a few comics guests with booths there. . .but it does not appear that there is a comics track this year.

shame. I"m guessing Arrow, Flash, Gotham, Shield, and other other comic book TV shows will be covered by panels on the main programming and the American TV tracks.

(seriously, almost the entire cast of Arrow is coming, and no comics track. . . sad)

the response has been lukewarm, so just to note.. I actually will NOT be there this year.

I've accepted an invitation (that I have passed on for 15 years) to another function that always takes place at the same time.

so for the 1st time in a long time, i'll be missing the meet up. But I'm sure there will be some CBR folks in the Hyatt Bar at 1, if anyone still wanted to meet up
