Question about banishing Vyndktvx (spoilers, be warned)

In The New 52 Action Comics Superman Volume 3,

Superman uses his mind link to everyone on earth, via Susie Tompkins,
to say and mentally broadcast everyone's name on earth backwards,
through, or to, Vyndktvx's mind.

-Can someone explain how this encourages Vyndktvx to say his own name
backwards?

"5D words are like thunder", and everyone on Earth saying their names backward caused him severe pain. He had to say his name backwards so that he could escape the agony back in his home dimension.

-I thought that everyone else was 3D. Therefore, they couldn't say
words in 5D. My theory is that Vyndktvx couldn't bear the babbling.
Any further clarification from anyone else on this?

-In what appears to be a breaking the 4th wall thing, apparently
the writer has written his own name backwards on the palm of his hand.
Ralph Morales' name appears to start with the letter 'N', spelled
backwards. Why is this, fans?

The name backwards is a 5-D word; it always have been, as that's what sends Mxy back. And if that's the case with Morales, it must have been a mistake.

He says in that issue "5-D words are like thunder" and then immediately tells everyone to say their names backward. It's obviously the meaning. Historically, it's THE 5-D word, because "name backwards" has been associated with the 5th dimension since day 1 for Mxy back in the 1940s.

I've never head of that concept before. The rule with Mxy just always plain
was that his saying his name backwards sends him back home.

Pretty simple what happened. Mxy's son is really Vyndktvx's arm but he doesn't know it. He's still apart of Vyndktvx. That's why when he's yelling at Mxy in the hospital Vyndktvx's disguised as Super Doom repeats the same dialogue.* When Superman tells everybody to say their name backwards Mxy's son doesn't say HIS name backwards, he says Vyndktvx's name backwards.* Why?* Because he's still apart of Vyndktvx.* That's why Vyndktvx said his own name backwards because he was talking through Mxy's son.* All Superman had to do was get that guy to say Vyndktvx name backwards. It was all part for Mxy's plan. Keep in mind Superman knows none of this. Only thing he was trying to do was hope that 6 billion people saying their name backwards would hurt him some kind of way, but he didn't think it would defeat him. That's why he was surprised when it worked.

Thsts when Vyndktvx finally realizes that this entire plot was really a trick by Mxy to become king. Lara tells baby Kal-El the whole story before he goes to sleep.

-How is it that Ferlin is some kind of an extension of Vyndktvx? I can't find
that as a particular explanation in the comic.

Saturn Woman said it twice while in the hospital. He was basically a damaged edge/limb of Vyndktvx. Mxy obviously played a part in this.
